Pickle Lit - The Pickle District

═══ Project ═══

Set on the traditional lands of the Yabbaru Bibbulman people, step into the shadows of The Pickle District, a historic industrial pocket of West Perth, where whispers of monstrous creations and glowing brined creatures echo through laneways and warehouses.

Once home to the original Tandy’s Preserves and Pickle Factory, this urban wetland-turned-arts-hub now transforms for one unforgettable night of immersive art, sound and light — all sparked by a mysterious incident in the old factory.

The artists featured in PICKLE LIT are among the most innovative creative minds working in Australia today — many of whom have received critical acclaim both locally and internationally. From Tee Ken Ng’s animations commissioned by global names like Coldplay, Netflix and Hermès, to Sohan Ariel Hayes’ award-winning work in animation and media art, and the global sonic journeys of Anita Emor and Diger Rokwell, who have toured extensively across the UK, Europe, Asia and North America. Add to that award-winning songwriter and digital artist Roly Skender, and you’ve got a lineup that brings together some of the most exciting voices in contemporary art and sound.
